THE STONE(S)

The outer circular frame of the pendant is set with a single, uniform stone group: 84 round brilliant lab grown diamonds. These stones are meticulously sorted to ensure a tight color grading of F-G (colorless to near-colorless) and a clarity grade of VS (eye-clean, with minute inclusions invisible to the naked eye). Each individual diamond measures between 0.01 and 0.07 carats, accumulating to a total carat weight (CTW) of 0.95 carats. Each diamond features an Excellent cut grade, optimizing internal light reflection through precise 57-58 facet symmetry. This uniform setting delivers high-intensity scintillation along the entire 360-degree perimeter of the piece. IGI or SGL certification is available upon customer request.

THE SETTING

The 84 round brilliant diamonds are secured in a dual-row micro-pavé setting along the flat surface of the outer ring. The bench jeweler utilizes microscopic drilled holes and tiny, shared metal prongs to minimize the visible gold boundaries between the stones, optimizing light entry from the crown facets. The center of the pendant houses an architectural assembly of eight interlocking gold spheres: three large and five small. Two of these larger spheres feature an intricate, textured geometric filigree relief pattern that contrasts sharply with the high-polish finish of the remaining spheres. The gallery structure features open-back cutouts beneath each micro-pavé diamond to facilitate cleaning and light throughput, backed by solid cylindrical gold supports that suspend the central sphere cluster securely.

METALS AND FINISH

The default alloy for this piece is solid 14K yellow gold (585 purity), containing 58.5% pure elemental gold balanced with copper and silver for optimal daily structural durability. The pendant can also be cast in 18K gold (750 purity) for a richer gold saturation, 10K gold (417 purity) for maximum scratch resistance, or premium 950 platinum (95% pure platinum), which provides a naturally hypoallergenic, dense, and tarnish-free backdrop. The standard finish is a dual combination: an ultra-smooth high polish on the outer ring edge, pendant loop, and six central spheres, juxtaposed against a specialized matte-etched geometric relief on the remaining two filigree spheres. While the default diamond weight is 0.95ctw, the outer halo can be scaled to accommodate accent stones ranging from 0.005ct to 0.10ct per stone. The lab grown diamonds can be selected within a D-I color range and a VVS1-VS2 clarity range. Hand-cut moissanite is also available via consultation.
